Yoga, mindfulness and nature help bring a sense of calm to children when they need it most. Today, more than ever, our children need to be developing skills that will help them build resilience and manage uncertainty by staying in the present moment.
Spending time outdoors, especially in green spaces, is one of the fastest ways to improve our children’s health and happiness. Nature, mindfulness and yoga movement all offer a natural bridge to health, happiness, connection and calm.
Peace Tree Kids is Salveo Yoga’s program designed to offer a bridge to learning rooted in nature, mindfulness and yoga movement. We are currently offering specialized outdoor programs for private clients and learning pods that are socially distanced classes in the beautiful setting of Longview Farm Park.
Our programs are designed to offer tools to support the emotional, physical and social well-being of a child. Students will enjoy playful themed classes designed to spark their curiosity. Yoga movement will be used to direct energy, build confidence, highlight inner strength and set a positive mindset.
Positive affirmations will build self-esteem and self-confidence, while animated breathing exercises, relaxation techniques and nature will offer tools to build focus and find calm inspiring students to make a mindful connection to the world around them,
